As we apply misting to the condenser coil, evaporation takes place more efficiently on fully wetted surface. With hydro-coil coating (Patent pending), cooling effect is maximum and micron-size water droplets is not required. The special coating holds thin film of water longer. Thus, this technology improves the Water FOG system performance by maximizing cooling, using less pump power and optimizing water usage.

Apart from performance increase, this coating is epoxy-base with metal powder mixed to enhance heat transfer properties.

There are many ways to control fogging to a condenser. A fixed temperature set point is easy. However, too low value would waste water, on the other hand, would deminish savings. Intelligent FOG control floats the set points to load and climate. Thus maximum savings is achieved all times using optimum volume of water.
